In 2001 I finished my Ph.D. in the research group of Prof. J. Gasteiger
on computer assisted reaction prediction and subsequently joined
ChemCodes Inc. in North Carolina, USA as a Chemoinformatics Scientist.
In the end of 2003 I moved back to Germany and accepted a position as Senior Scientist in
Computational Chemistry with a focus on structure based drug design at SIRENADE Pharmaceuticals near Munich.
2005 I took a leap of faith and founded my own business
SHORTCADD molecular informatics
services.
